your account is used to manage your access to the program. the main identifier is your license key.

recovery

there are a few ways to recover your account if you lose it.

1. email recovery
   when you purchase lightsocket, you provide an email. if you lose your license key, you can use this email to recover your account. please create a support ticket to recover using this method.
2. key rotation
   you may use the key rotation feature to change your license key in the case where you lose your key but have your discord account. this will invalidate your old key and give you a new one. to rotate your key automatically, run /regeneratekey. if the discord account running the command matches one linked with the account, or you provide a valid key, you will be given a new key. if you would like to regenerate your key but do not have a linked discord, please use method 1 to recover your account using your email.
3. other methods
   if you are unable to recover your account using the above methods, please contact support. i may be able to help you recover your account using other information, such as hwid (where you run a program to verify your computer), payment info (where you provide proof of ownership of the payment method used to purchase your license), or other contacts (like forum accounts or other social medias).
